I had the most incredible experience at Emdoneni Lodge! The attention to detail and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made me feel like royalty. The cottages were modern, clean, and provided all the comfort I needed. The highlight of my stay was definitely the cat project next door. It was such a privilege to get up close and personal with the endangered cats, especially the majestic cheetahs. The lodge's support for the project is truly commendable. I also enjoyed exploring the nearby national park on the game drives. I highly recommend this unique and special place.

The lodge had a nice pool to cool off in on hot days and the organized safaris were beautiful, with lots of wildlife sightings. The guide was knowledgeable and the landscape was green and hilly. The buffet dinner was delicious and there was a gas station nearby with great espresso and a fast-food restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable.
The drive from the lodge to the park entrance was cold and windy, which might be uncomfortable for some elderly people. The wifi in the lounge area was very slow and the rooms had weak or no 3G signal.

We recently had an amazing getaway at Emdoneni Lodge. The staff at the lodge were incredibly friendly and had amazing singing voices. They were also very accommodating towards our 2-year-old. Our safari guide, Josh, was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with a wealth of information during our safari. The chalets we stayed in were comfortable and impeccably clean. The food at the lodge was delicious and we appreciated the variety offered. The lodge's location, although near the N2 highway, was peaceful and surrounded by nature, with zebras and other wild animals roaming around. We were also conveniently located near Sodwana Bay, Kosi Bay, Richards Bay, and St Lucia, providing us with plenty of nearby activities to enjoy.
There was nothing we didn't like about our stay at Emdoneni Lodge. 👍

I absolutely loved the warm and inviting decor of the lodge. It had a real African charm with beautiful artwork and traditional furnishings. The general areas, like the bar and dining area, were so cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea by the fireplace. As a senior woman, I also appreciated how accessible the lodge was. Everything was conveniently located, making it easy for me to get around and enjoy all the amenities.
The only thing I would ask for to make it even better for senior people is if the children working there could provide a bit more assistance. Sometimes it was a little challenging to carry my luggage or navigate the grounds on my own.

The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant served fresh and well-prepared food. The food at the lodge was delicious, and the cheetah project was a highlight of our trip. We had the opportunity to get up close to the cheetahs and also saw other incredible wildcats like the Caracal and serval. The value for the price we paid was outstanding, and I highly recommend Emdoneni Lodge for a memorable stay.

As a senior woman, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Emdoneni Lodge. The decoration of the hotel was lovely, with a touch of South African charm that made me feel at home. The general areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for senior people like myself. It was a pleasure to leisurely explore the beautiful grounds and take in the natural surroundings.
Given the tranquil and peaceful setting of Emdoneni Lodge, the only thing I would have asked for is a more attentive staff. While the children working there were polite and helpful, there were times when I felt they could have been more attentive to the needs of senior guests like myself.
